    Who We Are:

    The Woda Group, Inc., and its affiliates are a rapidly growing development, construction, and property management organization headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.  The organization specializes in providing quality affordable housing throughout the Midwest and Central Atlantic regions.  Woda Management & Real Estate, LLC (“WM&RE”), the property management organization, currently manages over 10,000 housing units in over 300 housing communities.  The management company has a concentration specifically on communities funded via the LIHTC program, Rural Development, and HUD Section 8, and other affordable programs. WM&RE has implemented Yardi Voyager software throughout its portfolio.


    The Position:

    The Director of Education is a lynchpin in the growth and development of WM&RE.  This position will provide new and existing employees the tools they need to succeed.  This includes hands-on training, creating educational collateral, and acting as the coordinator of third party training sessions.  This is a full-time position.     What is Needed:

    • A friendly people-person with a passion for training.
    • 5 years of experience in affordable housing.
    • 1-3 years of experience coordinating various trainings.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Able to conduct training classes for audiences at all levels of the organization.
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 
    • Ability to develop and proof training materials.
    • Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
    • Knowledge of training and development practice and methods.
    • Ability to organize, manage, and lead multiple projects.
    • Affordable housing educational experience a plus.
